We are honored to announce that our project on Boulevard de Sébastopol has been awarded a prize by the City of Paris in the “Protecting and enhancing nature in the city” category of the APEX prize (Exemplary Parisian Architectures) launched in the framework of Paris' new bioclimatic zoning code. This project is about adapting a zinc roof, under which temperatures have become unbearable in summer for the people who live there, thanks to a wooden platform that will shade, support vegetation, and make accessible a roof currently occupied by the extraction system of a restaurant. We're proud that this project, among the 19 winners, is the only one to be led by individual owners, Matthieu Reffay and Aurélia Simon, whom we thank for their trust, thus illustrating the notion of the right to adapt to climate change dear to Roofscapes.
