Preliminary results from our tensile shading experiment with leading European sun protection manufacturer Resstende look promising. Measurements taken this summer indicate a 13°C reduction in temperature under the textile protection when the air temperature was only 21°C. With 42°C on the surface of zinc exposed to the sun, the air temperature under the textile shade was 29°C. We are ready to deploy more substantial projects so that we can gather even stronger data next summer. Stay tuned for more info soon.
