Roofscapes presented their work in the Forum des transitions urbaines at EPFL

Roofscapes took part in the Forum des transitions urbaines at EPFL, held in Neuchâtel on Friday, September 12, and co-organized by the Laboratory of Architecture and Sustainable Technologies (LAST) with the journal TRACÉS, under the title “Towards Bioclimatic Cities.” Roofscapes’ cofounder Tim Cousin contributed to the discussion by presenting the concept of climate realignment, developed by Roofscapes to rethink building envelopes in the context of warming European cities. The forum brought together a rich set of perspectives from Isabelle Bey (MétéoSuisse), Emilie Nault (CSD Ingénieurs), Clément Gaillard (Freio design climatique), Vincent Kempf (Ville de Sion – EspaceSuisse), Olivier Philippe (agenceter), Philippe Rahm (Philippe Rahm architectes), and Emmanuel Rey (LAST | Bauart). Many thanks to Emmanuel Rey and Martine Laprise for making this important gathering possible and for leading such inspiring conversations on the future of our cities.
